Small Projects is proud to present Merciful Owls, an exhibition by emerging artist Marsil Andjelov Al-Mahamid.

Al-Mahamid (b. 1983, Kikinda, Serbia) primarily works with natural materials such as wood, soil, and terracotta in the form of installations, sculpture, video and drawings.

For Small Projects, he has delicately worked with embroidery, soil drawings, and terracotta sculptures, to reflect over memories and understandings of the NATO military intervention of Yugoslavia in 1999, and the owls that subsequently came to Kikinda afterwards.
