LAVENDER MENACE

.5-1oz Earl Grey Tea and Lavender Simple Syrup*

1 oz Gin

Tonic Water

Frozen Blueberries

Lemon Rind

Garnish with Pansies

 

*Earl Grey Tea and Lavender Simple Syrup

300g raw sugar

300ml water

1 sachet of nice earl grey tea

a few sprigs of Lavender

 

simmer together for an hour or two, or until reduced to the consistency of syrup

 

Cal Harben is a Canadian artist and received their BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design 2009. Their practise is primarily concerned with the phenomenological experiences of duration, embodiment, and topophilia: the ecology of individual and social bodies in space. This often takes the form of photographic-installations, video, and crafted objects, engaging a language of queer aesthetics and ecologies. Harben is currently undertaking their MFA at the Tromsø Academy of Contemporary Art in Northern Norway.
